Middleton Limousin began when we first used a 75% Limi bull on our commercial cows in 1987. Upon seeing the calving ease, growth, and muscling in those calves, we purchased our first Limi heifers the next year in 1988. In 1989, we went to Genetic Horizons to an Artificial Insemination Clinic. We have been using Artificial Insemination ever since to help achieve our goal:
“To provide cattle to commercial and seedstock producers, that are gentle and manageable, fertile, moderate in their birth weights, high growth, sound and functional with lots of rib to work on fescue mixed pastures.”
We strive to pay attention to every detail possible to make our program the best we know how. We love to talk cattle and to give farm tours. So, feel free to call or stop by anytime you are in the area. We are located just 5 miles north of I-44 on Hwy. C at the Bourbon exit. Our Farm sets on highway ‘C’ right on the blacktop road. We are 35 miles east of Rolla, MO and 70 miles west of St. Louis, MO.
We have cattle for sale private treaty at all times and consign cattle to the MLBA and HMLBA sales — both Spring and Fall.
