We took a quick road trip this past week to Trans Ova Genetics in Chillicothe, Missouri to pick up a recip cow. We are looking forward to an E.T. bull calf due in February out of the $102,000 Cell Keystone x SSTO Flare 8804f (HA Cowboy Up x SBLX Xtra Special). Rhee (as we are calling her), has integrated well into our spring herd!
We enjoyed the travel through crop farms in Northern Missouri and were pleased to see that hay was being baled right off the highway!

Happy Monday! We were thankful for a bit of rain late yesterday afternoon.
We are also thankful to see MAGS Xosa 3700x being a good momma to her heifer twins MIDL Kit 212k and MIDL Kat 213k. They are so fun to watch!

What a summer! It’s been hot and dry, but we are thankful for the blessings in our life together and on the farm.
Fall calving season is underway and we have 4 healthy heifers, two of which are TWINS born yesterday, August 25.
MIDL Kit 212K and MIDL Kat 213K. The heifers are doing great, and momma is claiming/nursing them both. They are out of MAGS Xosa 3700X, who is one of our donors and PVF BlackList.
Looking forward to more A.I. sired calves, and our first calves from MIDL Hector Lives.

The last several weeks have been busy at the farm! Hay season 2022 is complete, and we are thankful for a barn full of quality hay! We moved both our spring and fall herds to fresh pastures, which always makes for a great photo opportunity.
We enjoyed hosting some recent guests at the farm! Thank you to the Strohmeiers, Burkempers and Willoughbys! We appreciate their confidence in our program by purchasing some of our cattle. Every visitor leaves with a treat bag of Jeanne’s pecan blondies of course!

We have been busy at the farm! Spring calving season is complete, and we are excited about this great new group. We’ve also been preparing our fields for hay season.
We appreciate our many customers and colleagues. Thanks to those of you who have visited our farm and purchased our animals. We are always grateful for feedback like this, which we recently received from Earl, who purchased one of our bulls:
“The bull has the best disposition of any bull I’ve seen, walked off trailer like he’d been here all his life.”
Jeanne and I would love to host you for a farm visit! Of course every farm visit includes a goodie bag of Jeanne’s blondies!

It’s hard to believe the New Year is well underway!
We are busy at the farm! Our days usually begin very early, which allows us to experience amazing sunrises like this one!
Spring calving has begun with one bull and one heifer calf on the ground! Both are out of TNGC Empire 736E. They are growing and doing great!

The 2021 hay season is in the books and our barn is full! Thankful for a good crop this year. Now looking forward to all the veggies our garden will bring us through the summer.
Monday, June 14, 2021–Hector Lives
We had a great weekend in Sedalia participating in the Missouri Limousin Breeders Association Field Day! It was warm but connecting with other friends and breeders was enjoyable. The quality of animals shown was impressive. Congratulations to all of the junior participants for their entries and showmanship. It was obvious those kids have worked hard!
It was a privilege for Middleton Limousin to show MIDL Honya 031H and MIDL Hector Lives 013H (TNGC Empire x Cole Windfall). We were proud that MIDL Hector Lives 013H was division III Champion Bull Open Show.
Thanks to Bev and Dean Summerbell from the Heartland Limousin Association for their participation and contribution.
